Swiggy a food delivery app that we can use to order food online. This food tech company started in 2014 and after four years this company is a part of the much-valuated league of unicorn startups.

Swiggy raised $210 million dollars at the of $1.3 valuation to become the most sought -after consumer internet firms,

Swiggy board members Vishal Gupta says that Zomato ,Uber eats, and Ola’s(Food panda) are credible players but food delivery is not their core business. They can’t do what Swiggy does day in and day-out.

Its members focused on making a proper logistics network with a help of vast feet of their delivery boys and that so at a time when restaurants were not convinced about the online channel.

Now lot of talking about the how it came up to be truly customer obsessed food tech app.

My experience with this app has been a nice one cause its faster in terms of delivery than Zomato. But I would prefer Zomato in terms of offers and discount coupons as you get free deserts if you avail premium memberships on Zomato app.

How to make best use of this Swiggy app:

You can download the app from the Google Play store for android users. Then type your email address and phone number to register to the Swiggy app. Within seconds you will get an OTP (One-time password) enter the OTP in the given OTP boxes on the app and you good to go to order your favorite meal. You can set your delivery location or the app will take it itself from its GPS.

Then it will start showing options of restaurants near you. And voila you can order any meal as per your comfort and time and energy.

You also get discounts, free deliveries, coupons that you can avail and enjoy food at much lower cost.

And you have a premium-memberships of Swiggy and have a better experience with the Swiggy.

You can know where you order is all the time from the restaurants to your doorstep.

There is nothing like no minimum order you can order in for yourself or for a group with no restrictions on order value.

As they say variety is a spice of life, most of us love to see variety around. Even the local restaurants/ food hose near my house are on Swiggy. Also, they have some exotic star hotels on their app but they apply distance fee sometime.
