The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer (OnePlus) is set to launch a new Smartphone in the lineup of its previous flagships. OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 pro are the most anticipated smartphones of this year. The “flagship killer” had quite an interesting year for its previous year lineup. One plus 8 is set to arrive in the summer months of 2020. The release date of the first flagship phone of 2020 is seemingly looming. Invitations of the launch event of this phone has been sent to the Chinese journalists. Good news for the fans of this Chinese Smartphones is that it is likely to come with wireless charging feature. The Chinese Smartphone brand will come up with three phones in its new lineup- OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 pro and OnePlus 8 lite. These phones will make their way in the market in the first half of 2020.OnePlus has confirmed that OnePlus 8 will come with 120 Hz display feature. The Chinese company claims that the display will be “the best you will lay eyes on”. But, we can neither confirm nor conform the statement made by them. This flagship will have 5G network connectivity.

OnePlus 8 :120 Hz display


The Chinese brand has confirmed that the new flagships will come with a 120 Hz displays. The new handset will have a 120 Hz display as per the statement made by Chinese firm. As mentioned above the OnePlus company claims that new flagship will have be “the best you’ll lay eyes on”. According to True Tech officials the OnePlus 8 pro model will not limit the resolutions at the higher Refresh Rates. In other words, switching the model to the 120 Hz display will affect the battery life but it won’t decrease display resolutions – unlike the Samsung S20 which will allow 120 Hz display at lower screen resolutions, meaning you can’t have the best of the both worlds. As per early leaks OnePlus 8 will go for a small-punch hole camera in the top-left corner for the front facing camera and the pro would shrink the camera from 6.67 inches down to 6.5 inches or even 6.44 inches. One of the biggest leaks suggest that none of the phones will have three rear cameras. The same leak also suggest that the OnePlus 8 version will have a 6.7inch screen with 120 Hz refresh rate while the pro and OnePlus lite version will come with a 6.44inch scree with 90 Hz refresh rate. Each of them will have a super AMOLED display. The OnePlus 8 model will flaunt the “waterfall screen” over the edges of the phone making it look like the name.

OnePlus 8 improved Camera:

The OnePlus 8 is coming in with a new triple camera set-up (main, ultra-wide, telephone lens) which are vertically aligned in the center. There are leaks questioning the presence of the extra lens. As per the leaks the OnePlus 8 will have a 60 MP camera, joined by a 16 MP on the each, then a 13 MP on pro, 12 MP on the base device. The existing “portrait mode” and “landscape mode” will get some upgrades.

Leaks are also suggesting introduction of “Super Stable mode” feature to create more Stable video footage. The OnePlus 8 Lite is assumed to come up with a 48 MP camera, then the same 16MP and 12 MP combo as OnePlus 8. 

OnePlus 8 battery life:

OnePlus 8 pro will have a 4500 mAh battery and the others will have a 4000 battery power packs. According to some leaks the OnePlus 8 can come up with a 30W charger which might prove to be a game changer in the market.

Some leaks are also suggesting the introduction of the wireless Charging feature in the new lineup of the OnePlus 8 flagships.

The absence of wireless charging was a major turnoff in the OnePlus series of Smartphones.


OnePlus 8 pricing and Release date:

The OnePlus 8 pricing is about to range around 39999 rupees and 49999 for OnePlus 8 pro version. The new flagship phone is expected to launch in the first half of 2020, most likely in May.

 Over the years OnePlus Smartphones have made a place for them in the market. They have gotten better with every upgrade and prices have also increased in few years.
