Tencent Flagship Game Honor of Kings Reports 100 million in November 2020
As said by Tencent, it will be soon launching two very new untitled derivative games spreading out the Honor of Kings world from online battle arena into new genres.

Honor of Kings can be noted as the most successful game made by Tencent. Tencent has always been China’s biggest video games and social media company. League of Legends has claimed that Wild Rift is currently being tested in Asia.

Tencent Flagship game Honor of Kings has reported a record of 100 million active users daily. And it is also trying to expand into other genres and collaborating with British luxury group Burberry. On the occasion of the fifth anniversary, Tencent has faced challenges from the world’s best desktop game, the mobile version of League of Legends. League of Legends has claimed that Wild Rift (by Tencent) is currently being tested in Asia.
Li Min, game director and General Manager of Tencent’s Timi studios, has stated Reuters in an interview that, “We are going to expand how players can interact with the Honor of Kings world and create a multi-dimensional brand experience that drives engagement both inside the game and outside it.
This could include anime, films, music and even live action series.” Tencent also claimed it will be launching two very new untitled derivative games, expanding the Honor of Kings world from multiplayer online battle arena to more specified genres.
Honor of Kings basically allows the players hack the way through battle arenas. Timi studios on Sunday claimed that an officially-licensed Bruce Lee look is also introduced into the game. Tencent has always been China’s biggest video games and social media company, it is also the perfect channel to improvise the popular esports in China on the demand of more and more young Chinese interest to spend money on video games.
Approximately, $240 million (around Rs 1,800 crores) active users, Honor of Kings topped grossing mobile game Worldwide for September 2020, as per Sensor Tower. On whole this is 87% growth from the previous year.
